In 2021, Prada & American Express would come together to create a wearable contactless payment device for the holders of an Amex Centurion card. The Centurion card is only given to the most exclusive and high spending Amex customers, and comes with an unlimited spending limit and lots of cardholder rewards and benefits.

The card is said to be offered to Amex clients when they spend over $250,000 a year, and comes with an invitation fee of $10,000 and a yearly membership fee of $5000. Prada has a history of technological trailblazing, and this partnership is no exclusion. The band is made from Prada’s signature Saffiano leather, and contains an NFC chip inside.

The band can only be linked to an amex centurion card, but can still be worn as an accessory if you do not have access to one of these cards.
