FW1999 Leather Sidebag

The Miu Miu label was founded in 1992, by Miuccia Prada, as a youthful/playful sister label to the original Prada brand. The brand originally set out to create feminine clothing that did not to prescribe to the boring looks that womenswear had at the time, and after its first collection in 1993 was an instant success.

Although the Miu Miu brand is not well known for its technical apparel, the brand would adopt a more technical approach to designing garments in the 1999/2000 era, resulting in a few collections that have become idolised by tech-fashion fans admirers. The collections featured a fusion of both atypical and typical garments and accessories, with a unique mixture of materials such as leather and mesh.

This bag, from the FW99 collection, features an all leather exterior, with an embossed Miu Miu logo. The rear of the bag is made from a perforated polyester mesh, which gives the bag a unique contrast of heritage & new-age function. The bag also features branded Lampo zippers, and an olive green nylon strap.

In great condition with some minor signs of wear to the leather.
