FW1999 LEATHER & MESH HANDBAG

Prada Sport was started in 1998, as a sub line of Prada that was aimed towards producing activewear - with garments that had more technical features & materials. Prada Sport is easily recognised by its signature red tab, and was made extremely popular amongst streetwear & hip hop heads in the early 2000s.

The Prada Fall/Winter 1999 womenswear collection, presented in Milan, marked a significant moment in Miuccia Prada's exploration of unconventional beauty and intellectual fashion. This collection is often cited as a pivotal example of her "ugly chic" aesthetic, challenging traditional notions of glamour and elegance.

This bag is incredible, and is constructed from a smooth leather mixed with the signature prada mesh from that time period. The bag features a large main pocket, and a outer zip pocket on the front, with a velcro skli pocket on the bag.
