    LEVI'S

    RED TAB 'STEALTH' JACKET

In the late 1990s, Levi’s sought out the innovative talent of Massimo Osti, known for his pioneering work with C.P. Company and Stone Island. After collaborating on Dockers’ “Equipment for Legs,” Osti was brought in to help develop the Industrial Clothing Division (ICD) and later the ICD+ range, in partnership with Philips. Though ICD was eventually discontinued, Osti’s influence lingered, impacting future Levi’s designs, including the Red Tab line.

This particular Red Tab jacket showcases elements reminiscent of Osti’s style, especially in its technical design features. It includes a stealth pocket system inspired by the ICD Mooring Jacket, with zippered and Velcro-secured compartments for added functionality. Hidden pockets, one specifically designed for a mobile phone, offer discrete storage, while the two-way zipper system provides easy access. The jacket also features a removable hood, a fleece interior with quilted sleeves, and a button system to secure these components.

Even after the ICD project ended, Osti’s design philosophy continued to influence Levi’s collections, such as Red Tab and All Duty, which maintained technical elements like military-style storage and durable materials. The jacket’s additional features include zipped and Velcro-secured pockets, D-ring pulls, elastic cuffs, a mesh interior lining, drawcord hem, and a wired hood with Velcro neck closures.

In great condition with no signs of wear.
