SS02 "TUXEDO" HIPBAG

Dolce & Gabbana (D&G) was founded in 1985 by Italian designers Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana. The pair originally met in 1982, where they would join forces to establish a design consulting studio in Milan. Originally only producing womenswear, the brand would launch their first menswear collection in 1990. Fast-forwarding to the 2000s - D&G would become known for its unusual design.

The SS02 D&G collection featured heavy inspiration from the world of ballet & ballroom, with garments being layered and tightly fitted. This bag from the collection, is an interesting take on a hip bag, and features an interesting material reminiscent of a tuxedo. Featuring a button pocket, zip pocket, and a slip pocket. The bag is also adjustable.
